Product Reviews:

 Rating 5   Excellent
This is an eye opening view of the role women played in the founding of our nation. It gives insight to the sacrifices made and the courage displayed by women at the birth of our nation. I knew the founding fathers were brave and remarkable people; now I know the women were just as brave and remarkable. These were people of vision, character, and strength in adversity. It is easy to read and well worth the cost of purchase.

 Rating 1   Sorta Disappointed
I am a descendant of one of the Signers, and over the years have become familiar with the lives of many of the 56 Signers, but not so much the wives, other than some genealogy. This book does not give me much real information or insight as to any of them, other than Jane Adams and a few others where their lives have already been in the public eye through their husbands' biogs etc.

Rating 5   Strong men need strong women
We hear so much about the brave and strong men back in the founding of the United States but b\little or nothing of the wives. This book gives you a glimmer of what thier life was like and the hardships that they endured in helping our nation be founded. It makes you crave for more information on the families of our founders.

 Rating 5   Historic
So much unknown information on the wives of the signers of the Decleration of Indepence. The struggles of these brave women and the support they gave our founding fathers. They truly inspired a new nation with their individual acts of courage. Should be required reading in school. All Americans need to be aware of what actually transpired during this critical period of our country's history.

 Rating 4   Good book.
Everyone should know what these wives went through to support their husbands. They helped shape our nation.
