This is a credible, heart-wrenching, and true retelling of the
complete disabling of the United States ship, the U.S.S. Liberty,
and injuries & deaths of many U.S. sailors who were onboard.
The attack on this U.S. intelligence ship was done by an ALLY of
the U.S. -- Israel! (With allies like this, who needs enemies?)
This incident has been virtually removed from the history books
-- and if it ever is mentioned, it is supposed to have been a
"mistake".
This DVD is filled with first-person accounts, of survivors of
the attack. With maps and further explainations, the terrible
story of why the U.S.S. Liberty was REALLY attacked, is made
clear.
This historical horror story is simply, and dramatically retold.
Continuing to shroud this story, and keeping it out, I would hazard to guess, of about 99% of the history books now published, (and probably more of a percentage of the text-books published), in the USA and Israel, only points out the shameful truth of this story. (I only learnt of it accidently, whilst perusing a DVD catalogue). Those people who think that Israel can do no wrong, and that it has no secret agenda, are in for a sad and sorry shock when they see this truthful, first-person, well-produced, and achingly poignant DVD. Killing people is never right -- no matter who does it! And, sadly, this lomg-ago incident appears to be only the tip of the iceberg. Like any other country, Israel is made up of people. And people -- all people -- will sometimes go go truly monstrous lengths to make the dreams of some become realities for all -- even the unwilling.
If you pride yourself of being in possession of the American ideal of having an open mind about all things, do buy and warch this DVD. Yes, Israel has helped many -- but hurt many more. In this DVD, you will see how it totally disabled an American ship, and killed or disabled many of the Americans aboard.
Understanding Government False Flag Operations
This video, produced by the BBC, demonstrates how governments manipulate their populaces by attacking their own military and saying their enemies did it. It is an ancient tactic that is used to get the public piping hot and furious at an enemy and willing to go to war. Government officials go along with it for many reasons including threats by higher ups, awards for silence, and the mentality that the end justifies the means. When watching this video, one should compare and contrast to the events of 9/11 due to it being the latest and greatest false flag operation to perpetrate the war on terrorism. Other False flag operations include Operation Gladio and Operation Northwoods.

This my opinion/take on this DVD....the unprovoked aerial attack upon the USS Liberty by Israeli jets will live in infamy, that salacious President Johnson deliberately covered up this travesty...the US Navy vessel was 22 miles off the Israeli coastline in neutral waters during the 7 day Israel-Egyptian 'war'...many KIAs and wounded resulted by the repeated air attacks/strikes to sink the intelligence ship....the ship was lightly armed...what made this international incident even worst was the immediate cover up by LBJ and Sec of Defense McNamara [ closest thing to another: Martin Borman]....the two of them....never once addressed this dastardly attack....why??....Jewish-American hush money, of course...LBJ caved in to the perfidious AIPAC [ Anti-Israeli Political Action Committee]...which stormed our Capitol building with busloads upon busloads [en masse] of Jews from NYC to smooth over this attack...these people are our "friends"??....no succor at all for our stalwart/heroic sailors who courageously fought only to survive and were ORDERED to keep/remain silent thereafter...thank you, President Lyndon [bag-job] Johnson...what a poor excuse for a human being...it's all out of the bag now, decades later, but what about those US Navy sailors and their Navy families, all of whom, had to endure with a corrupt President along with a salacious Secretary of Defense is reprehensible and unforgiveable!!....I ask you...where is the common decency in our leaders in Washington, DC??....PS...Proceed to read ALAN MCDONALD's and some guy named: JOSEPH's...two kiss-up/cunning reviews [below] as they try their darndest to refute the real/hard/true facts to this most reprehensible cover-up of their Jewish/Israeli interests; especially, the two [2] comments on both reviews that are a MUST read...I thank you.....Semper Fi, Mac.....SSGT CHRIS SARNO-USMC FMF
Heartbreaking and Factual
Well researched and presented, all the more believable given the USA pre-emptive war in Iraq, and our current threatening of Iran with nuclear war.
When AIPAC (American Israeli Political Action Committee) instructs the leading politicians of both American political parties to continue threatening Iran with a pre-emptive nuclear attack (and our politicans oblige,like the bought and payed for lapdogs they have proven themselves to be), it is something to be very, very worried about.
Read the report 'A Clean Break' by Richard Perle and Douglas Feith (among others), written for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Israeli government in 1996, and start connecting the dots on why the USA removed Hussein in Iraq.
 The worst type of story telling
This production, the foundation for Peter Hounam's book titled "Operation Cyanide", is a prime example of myth creation disguised as "investigative journalism."
What is most remarkable about the production's thesis is that --if it were accurate -- then in fact the U.S. was not a non-belligerent in the June 1967 Arab-Israeli war as claimed by outspoken former Liberty crewmembers and others, but actually a co-belligerent, and thus the USS Liberty was not entitled to the rights of a neutral as a non-belligerent third-party.
The thesis is that the Six-Day War was in fact a joint U.S.-Israeli military operation designed to destroy Egypt, and that the attack on the USS Liberty was simply a pre-text for a U.S. aerial strike on Cairo -- using nuclear weapons no less.
This production starts with the premise that the attack on the USS Liberty was pre-planned, and thus right from the start loses its credibility as anything to be taken seriously -- especially when the details within the production are reviewed for accuracy.
Some samples of glaring errors (or outright falsehoods) are:
Former USS Liberty crewmember David Lewis now claiming that it was via the CRITIC system that Admiral Geis informed Washington of _his_ launching Sixth Fleet aircraft (It was in fact Admiral Martin, as Sixth Fleet CO, who had sent the text message). The CRITIC system is text, not voice, and in all previous story-telling, Lewis claimed it was via radio-telephone or some other _voice_ circuits by which Geis was _talking_ with Washington.
The worst kind of interviewing technique by not asking former Defense Secretary McNamara a question, but making an outright accusation. This is followed by clearly obvious film-cutting in order to spin a pre-conceived desire by a clearly then frustrated interviewee.
Taking the brief speech by the late Captain McGonagle in 1997 and editing it out of sequence as it was originally given. This can be demonstrated by simply reviewing the actual speech as directly quoted in the AP release of June 8, 1997 -- reported also in many newspapers on the 9th.
The use of completely unsupported hearsay material when repeating what supposedly McGonagle told the ship's former engineer, George Golden, as well as making a statement by the narrator which is a further extension of that hearsay.
The absolute misrepresentation of displaying what is suppose to be a document referencing something called Operation "Cyanide" when in fact the document clearly shows it represents an operation called "Frontlet 615". Then this false claim is compounded further when it is stated that the actual document is related to the USS Liberty, when it in fact references only a "submarine within UAR waters". There is _no_ reference to the USS Liberty in this document, dated April 7, 1967. It was not until late May that Liberty was _diverted_ from her African mission to move to the eastern Med.
Giving credibility to one Greg Reight (completely discredited in 1997 by retired Ambassador Richard B. Parker) regarding Reight's claim that supposedly USAF-crewed RF-4C reconn aircraft flew for the IAF during the war (thus establishing that the U.S. was a co-belligerent by the producers) and his claim that the IAF had "no reconnaissance aircraft". Displayed as supposed proof is a 1967 Israeli released reconn photo, cropped. In the original release the shadow of the photo plane itself, a Mirage IIICJ(R), is clearly visible. This well-known and much published photo was taken by IAF squadron 119 on June 5th, the first day of the war. It is well established that in fact the IAF had reconnaissance aircraft during the June 1967 period. That the producers would use a photo which originally had a shadow of the IAF photo plane is proof enough.
The above are simply some representative examples of the many problems with this production, and that they are so easy to spot and fact-check should give pause to anyone who might consider it to be worthy of praise when it comes to such a complex story as the USS Liberty -- especially given the many myths already generated -- one can add this production to that list.
